Goodbye Oakland!

I moved out of the firehouse yesterday. Now I understand “location, location, location” better than ever. I lived in the ghetto in an amazing 100 year-old, 2,000 sq foot firehouse. It was great inside—complete with a tower. Ghetting out (wink, wink) was a bit of a psychological hardship on a daily basis. I’m too exhausted from moving 1 million boxes down those stairs to write much, but here are a few snapshots, including a self-portrait from my last moments in that incredible space of potential. Now for the x-country drive. xo Oakland…I love you!
